I have to admit it turned out pretty cool. After making one out of poster board and other materials I decided to try making one from scraps of wood and other modified parts. Most of these items I was able to acquire from the local Habitat for Humanity Restore. Check out the video below to see how both projects came out.
Kinetic Sculpture
During the summer I like to look for and try out new ideas for my classes. One that had been on my mind was creating a kinetic sculpture that I came across on the Blick Art page. Since some of the materials can be kind of pricey, it would have to be an after school or small group activity, possibly paid for through a grant.
