Students had to do a lot of planning and problem solving to create their armatures, making certain that they could stand on their own when finished. This project is one of the favorites among my students. It is a lot of fun observing their energy and thinking process as they work through their designs.
Have a Seat
One of my students came across some Styrofoam packaging that had been in some cardboard boxes we were using for projects and came up with this idea. It was even strong enough for them to sit in.
