"The RIght Fit"

I frequently have students who ask to come to my room during their lunch period.  The cardboard creation below was made by one such student.  He had competed his art section for the year, but really wanted to create a large robot out of cardboard.  

 

In the early stages of this project, the student called me over to look.  He was standing next to his robot who now had on shoes.  With its creator standing next to it in socks. :)

 

 Of course I loved the look, so I made a special trip to our local Goodwill store after school to find a pair of shoes that could fit a robot. 

They were customized with some paint and the robot had its own pair of shoes.
